Tango crash - red love

28.10.2011 Tangobaustelle, Schiffbauergasse, Graz This pre-test had the aim to narrow down parameters that influence the subjective tango danceability of a musical piece. Several laymen tango dancers form Graz volunteered to take part in the test. Tested parameters were: 1) bad sound quality 2) monotony 3) unclear meter 4) strong changes in tempo 5) unusual instrumentation 6) danceable but unknown 7) danceable and well-known the parameters were tested in four categories each: época de oro recording, new tango recording, alternative tango, electrotango.
