Harmonische Struktur und Patternbildung in der Lamellophonmusik der Shona in Zimbabwe The book discusses the harmonic structure of mbira music and the motional-rhythmic patterns which are characteristic features of its performance practice. Earlier descriptions of the underlying chord sequences are discussed and a systematic interpretation of the harmonic progressions is presented.
